Some believe that dreams are premitions. Others that they are nothing more than illusions or distractions created by the brain to help us cope with the horrors of reality. And others still believe that they are gateways leading to someplace else. Where exactly? Whohe knows?
The word "dream" can have many, many meanings. It could be taken literally, as an image or scene viewed while asleep, or it could be taken figuratively, e.g. "your hopes and dreams". Those who do not think of it as this way have no hopes and no dreams. They are as good as dead, their eyes are closed.
Some believe dreams work as a way to bridge the gap between the living and the dead. Can dead men talk? Can a corpse walk?
